If i were to take the act next september...

...would i get the scores back before early decision deadlines?

and if I took the act, would i have to send sat II scores? or does the ACT take the place of them?

I would take them in June, but i have to take an SAT, 3 AP's and 3 SAT II's during the May to June period this year.

When are early decision deadlines? Nov. 1? You'd probably get your Sept. scores by then, but I wouldn't count on it. Most multiple-choice scores take ten days to two weeks or so to come out online, and writing scores usually take about three to four weeks, but there's a chance they could take seven weeks. You could take it in April.

Since you can select which ACT scores you send to schools, why not take it in june and just see how you do. If you do bad, then you prepare over the summer and take it in September.
