<p>Should I do one of those overnights? I'm planning on applying early to smith. The downside is that I am very busy and I would have to miss school and the deadline is approaching quickly. I visited for a tour and an information session, etc, and have a good understanding of the school.</p>
<p>Up to you. If you are 100% confident you want to attend Smith then I guess you don’t have to do an overnight. But if you have any doubts or want any more information then a second visit, be it for an overnight or something else, would be in order. My D spent a full day at her two top schools shadowing a student, attending classes, eating in the dining hall etc. and found it to be very insightful (for her it made her top choice clear, but for you it could confirm what you are thinking in terms of Smith).</p>
