If taking AP Exams, should I take SAT Subject Tests???

I am taking AP exams in may for US History and Physics B (among others), and I am debating whether or not to take the subject tests in May, Do colleges really like subject tests? Is a 5 on an ap exam not as good as a 750+ on a subject test?
any advice is appreciated!

hmm I’m not too sure on how the scores look against eachother… but I am taking the ap tests for Chemistry, Physics B and Calc AB, then the chem, physics, and math subject tests in june. That way I have more time to prep as there might be some things that are different on the subject tests. Not entirely sure though.

you had better look online to see what colleges require/ recommend re: subject tests. Some require/ recommend 2-3.
AP tests are mostly used to meet/ get out of basic entry level classes once you are in college, though colleges definitely like you to take them if you took the corresponding AP classes.

As stated above, most of the top schools require 2 SAT IIs (3 for GTOWN). I would highly recommend taking at least 2 SAT IIs, preferably immediately after the AP Tests in the same subject.

Thanks for the responses, I forgot to mention, I have already taken three sat 2’s that I am happy with, so that issue is not really a concern (GTOWN all the way!), I am just wondering if care about your score if you already get a 4 or 5 on the exam.

yes, your subject test score should be a reflection of your AP score
