If you can't go to A&M, where are you gonna go?

Hi everyone,
I create this thread to hope that people could share information to help students to get a good decision after the first choice is ...gone... Y_Y

I apply to A&M with the Petroleum Engineering as a 1st major, the 2nd is Civil Engineering.

I have been waiting for them for a VERY LONG TIME..... (still in step 2).
Does anyone have any experience to share that if I fail A&M?
Where is the good place to go?

I got admitted from:
_ Texas Tech University Petro Engr. major
_ Oklahoma University Petro Engr. major
_ University of Kansas Petro Engr. major
_ University of Houston Petro Engr. major

_ Georgia Tech Civil Engr. major
_ Oregon State University Civil Engr. major

I will go for Texas Tech! Trust me!

Georgia Tech by a mile. US News has it as the #3 school in the country for Civil Engineering.

@jrt336 : thanks for your rec… ^^. Do you have more info like life or environment on the campus in GA tech?.. appreciate your help…

@tam3010: Texas Tech is my 2nd choice also… Could you give me some reasons to encourage me going there… Thanks a lot!
