OK if this isn't said enough, kids at my school didn't know what inauguration day was. Kids at my school don't know what the secretary of state does. Kids at my school are moronic. I live in Idaho. Which basically means I live in a conservative bubble where you aren't allowed to even think outside the box.

We would meet at the beginning of the year to plan out activities we would all do together to boost our applications and plan out what APs we would self-study for as a group.

we'd do things like
- bake cookies and bring them into class
- put little notes in random people's lockers to cheer them up
- give roses to people on valentine's day
- try to help people who are hurting, find kids who've had to leave school because of illness and visit them in the hospital, etc

^ That's a compassionate and creative idea for a club! :) You should really do it, if you can!

If I could start a club, it'd just be Model UN. I know, I'm very original. But I think that students (including myself) could use a more global perspective and gain valuable experience from participating. My school is going through a budget cut (hopefully it will stay singular), so the principal agreed that we could try to integrate Model UN into the Political Club, a plan I'm pretty excited about.
