<p>So here's my stats:</p>

<p>3.6 GPA (unweighted)/3.8 GPA (weighted)
Top 25% of class
2150 SAT
Tutored After school everyday for 2 hours (for free, volunteer work)
Key Club Member for 2 years, about 15 hours each year (junior and senior year)
Played tennis for junior year and senior year (varsity)
Took tons of AP/Honors Classes -</p>

<p>Sophomore Year: Chemistry Honors
Junior Year: American Literature Honors, AP Biology, and APUSH
Senior Year: AP English 4, AP Economics, Physics Honors, and AP Calculus A/B</p>

<p>Here's where I wanna go (first = highest priority):</p>

<li>UMass Amherst (out of state, i live in california)</li>
<li>UC Davis</li>
<li>UC Santa Barbara</li>
<li>UC SD</li>
<li>UCLA</li>
</ol>

<p>@poi: YAYYY!! UMass Amherst is where I really wanna go and that’s good news for me. :smiley: btw, i’m gonna give u a few more details:</p>

<p>I’ve received a couple of Cs but those grades were always improved the next semester. I always had atleast a B for the second semester after I received a C for the first semester. also, I received one F in Spanish 1 during freshman year (1st semester), not because I slacked off, but because I had just moved in from Massachusetts to california in the middle of the year and it was really hard for me to get used to the new language. Obviously, I worked my butt off next semester and got a B+ to make up for my first horrible grade. </p>

<p>Will these stats change anything in my chances of getting into UMass Amherst? I live in california right now, but i’ve lived in massachusetts for 4 months in 2004 and 7 months in 2008. thanks again for your input! :D</p>

<p>i think amherst is rlly competitive to get into… if u write a kick ass essay u have a good chace!
