Can you take AP tests? I am graduating early and will be done in October but I still want to take 2 or 3 AP tests.

As far as I know, you pay the money, you take the test. I think this applies whether you're 17 or 90.

^yup /i concur/

here is a dumb question: can you take AP tests and get college credit, AFTER you are enrolled in a college?

I don't think so, but I wish I could have done that with AP Biology, because I could have taken the two courses I wanted take sooner than senior year.

Talk with your AP Coordinator. I think you have the best chances of being able to arrange your AP tests with him/her at your school in the spring.

If you have been accepted at a college to start in Jan 2008, it might be better for you to take CLEP exams. AP exams are administered during a specific, rigid schedule -- two weeks in May. The CLEP exams are more flexible.
