So I've just been informed that my school has no deadline (odd?).

What is the process of getting IGETC certification to the UCs and when is THEIR deadline? I'm assuming it's within the timeframe of acceptance letters going out and SIR's deadlines.

once certification is processed by your CCC, they'll hand you sealed envelope. either bring it in person to the campus or mail it in. nothing happens online, or through any type of network, as is typical of grade FAFSA GPA verification.

for berkeley, the deadline is July 15.

for ucla, once admitted, they suggest that you turn it in as soon as possible, however there is no official deadline. if for some reason you plan to enroll in a GE course, you'd be prohibited from doing so until you've turn in the certification. otherwise, the priority is pretty lax.

no clue about the others.

Awesome. Thanks man.

(Who cares about the others? Jk.)

This is the simple way that I did it. I made an appointment with my ccc's tansfer counselor and she signed it after reviewing...then yah... made it real simple... orrrrr call up the rep that is in charge of transfers from admissions at the UC that you are going to....I talked directly to a gal that was exactly that...she made it seem really simple.

Online at UCtransfer there's a list of representatives for each ccc. call yours
