I don’t mean to take the thread away. but since we’re on the subject…

My IGETC is completed except for the Mathematics requirement; as i’m taking Elementary Statistics and not doing to well in it…

How much does this suck in terms of any of my admission decisions reverting to a “no we can’t accept you now.” ? ?

I’ve been accepted to UCSB, UCSD, UCI, UCR and waiting on Cal & UCLA.

I’ve only spoken with one rep and thats from Riverside who said if I don’t pass my math IGETC requirement I can still enroll in it again this summer at my CCC and just tell UCR i’ll be completing it in the summer…

…But i’m not too sure about the others and as i’m sure you can relate; this situation can cause some anxiety.

Holidays, unfortunately the math requirement is much more important than igetc, it is in fact a “minimum admission requirement”, and I’m pretty sure if you don’t pass it you will be rescinded. Ucr may be lenient in this regard, but I doubt the other ucs will be sympathetic.

Agreed, as said yesterday as well. Try your hardest in Stats, I had difficulty with it at first but it’s something you really have to work for and then it’s super easy! Good luck!

There you go! Trust me, it’ll be over before you know it! When I started understanding it really well…there was only two months left, haha! Keep it up!
