IGETC question.

I already did a search on this forum for similar situation like mine. They did not answer my question so I'm going to ask here. I marked that I would complete IGETC by spring 2013 but later found out that I am short of one humanity class. I got admitted to UCSD. I thought they would know that I would be one class short. They didn't. They admitted me as a TAG applicant. The admission contract say I need the IGETC certification which I won't be able to obtain by the end of this spring. So is there anybody in here who was in similar situation and solved it somehow?

I also got admitted to UCLA and Berkeley for Mechanical Engineering. Both do not recognized IGETC so their provisional admission do not require me to have IGETC certification. So I am not too stress about it.

Thanks.

Call them on Monday and ask them what needs to be done. Is UCSD your first choice? Why worry about it if you don’t need IGETC for Cal and LA?

^ Most of my family want to me to go to UCSD. Three of them graduated from there as ungrad. It is a beautiful campus. I will call them on Monday and ask. I am not too stress about it though.

UCLA and Cal are still my top choices. I wonder if these two schools look at my application and say “Hey you marked that you would complete IGETC. Even though our schools of engineering does not recognize IGETC, this part of your UC application is incorrect so we have to rethink your admission.” lol
