because I've changed my major and for certain other reasons, I've only satisfied the English area of IGETC, social sciences, half of the natural sciences requirement, half of the humanities requirement, and my foreign language requirement(which I satisfied back in high school). I intend to apply for transfer in fall of 2013. In my fall semester, I'll be taking my final class for my major, an art history class, a stats class, and probably yet another social science class(I'll probably be taking a social science honors class to satisfy TAP requirements).

The thing is, I'll still have to satisfy a speech class requirement for CSUs, and a physical science requirement for both CSUs and UCs in spring of 2014. Will this affect my chances of gaining admission into UCLA, other UCs, and CSUs?

I have a dilemma. I’ve finished all my GE classes for transfer for this year. I’m doing my last math class & all the schools I’ve applied to said that they won’t give me any decision until I turn in my final transcripts. How is this possible when there have been other people who haven’t even finished all their required classes and usually have more than 1 to complete & they received a decision before me?

You are taking your last class this current spring semester and they want your final transcript before they make a decision? If I’m understanding this correctly then you should call each college admissions office and explain your situation. Hopefully it’s just a misunderstanding.

No it will not affect your chances if you finish the physical science class and speech class during spring 2014, but it will affect your chances if you do not finish the last transferable math class and the last two transferable English classes before Spring 2014.

@Robelius thanks for your response. I’ve called them numerous times and they won’t even give me a provisional decision. They keep on saying “We have to know if you’ve passed in order to give you a decision”. In that case just tell me no you’re not accepted & move in with it. Aren’t they supposed to at least give you a provisional decision (if they accept you) & if you don’t pass then take it away? That seems more logical to me than waiting at the last minute to say yes or no. & for the record I’ve never failed a class in my life & I don’t plan on failing my last class now. I’ve also put that I’ll be getting my AA in May on my application but I don’t think that helps.
