1.) A young girl said her mom had no papers, and Mrs. Obama said they would work on getting her papers. There was no investigation into whether or not the girl’s mother was illegal. That said, yes, some children of undocumented workers are in public schools, but still do not receive full tax benefits.
2.) Show me these reports.
3.) Again, please show your work.
4.) Workers can’t send their money where they want? I bought items from Sinn Fein, based in Ireland. That has got to be worse than a poor laborer sending money to a starving family. That’s not charity, that’s hard-earned money. Not nearly enough for their labor, but still earned.

Romani, don’t bother giving that point the time of day by trying to defend various U.S. institutions. It is an invalid point and requires no further discussion, aside from showing where it becomes obviously wrong.

Ok, I’m gone now. I keep lying to myself about that though.

It is OPEN to legal Americans. No legal Americans have even APPLIED. There would be a difference if it was between an illegal and a legal. But it is the difference between an illegal and… no one.

Naw, immigrants are cool. They do the stuff we don’t want to do. Besides, we’re all forgetting about the most important issue. We need as many Spanish women in this country as possible.

Oh my god. “Subject to the jurisdiction” means that you do not pledge allegiance to another country. If u are just born you obviously do not have a choice cuz idk… u were just BORN! Therefore a newborn baby is subject to the subject of their parents’ jurisdiction. Oh wait, you mean their parents are illegal? . . . OK, THEN YOU’RE ILLEGAL TOO!

Honestly, our criminal justice system is ****ed up enough already. Though you may be unwilling to believe this, illegal immigrants are the least of our problems.

If we were discussing this in person, someone would have a black eye or bloody nose by now - and it’s not me. Generally, I am not a pugilist, but this statement has inspired nothing but a shudder of revulsion in me.

If I follow your logic, then my parents should not be paid a percentage of their wages because we send over 17% of our income overseas to support our family members.

^^No, it is not open to legal Americans. It’s open to illegals only. If you were a farmer, would YOU take the risk of losing your business by having a legal applicant potentially report you for hiring illegals?

Says you. Unfortunately, what you think matters a lot less than what the Supreme Court thinks. Which has been explained again and again and again.

You should go tell the Supreme Court that they’ve been doing it wrong for years.

No, being subject to another nation’s jurisdiction means that you have to obey all of its laws and will receive punishment as if you were a citizen.

No, that is not the case; your statement reflects your poor understanding of the term “jurisdiction.”

No I am not wrong. SOMEONE PLEASE look it up on google or yahoo . . . not Wikipedia. You guys are not interpreting the law as it was originally intended to be interpreted. The SC is made up of humans who make errors. Just a month or so ago they almost got rid of the right to own a gun in some areas which we ALL SHOULD KNOW is the 2nd Amendment the right to bear arms.

Power of a court to adjudicate cases and issue orders.
