BennyB: What are you looking for in a college?

BU: Not a great campus in terms of beauty, but Boston is perhaps the best city in which to go to college. Many more schools in Boston to look at, though. BU is fairly tough to get into. If you are looking at large urban colleges in Boston with moderate admission standards, you may want to take a look at Northeastern. Also, check out their Cooperative Education program. Probably the best in the country!

Drexel: Large urban school. 5 minutes from UPenn. Located in an exciting section of Philly. You can take advantage of all that UPenn has to offer. Not too tough to get into.

Fordham: Very good school. Moderate admission standards. If you are looking at the Rose Hill campus in the Bronx, the area surrounding the campus is very bad. Don't want to walk around in that neighborhood after dark.

Fordham's Manhattan campus is quite nice, but, most entertainment is not found on campus. Plenty to do in Manhattan, but very pricey. Off-campus housing costs are outrageous.

Penn State: If you like all of the excitement of a huge rural university located in a great college town, Penn State is tough to beat. Apply before November 30th, though.

S.U.: Not too tough to get into for most majors. If you like big-time Division I athletics, it's an exciting place. Campus is urban, ok in appearance but nothing to brag about. Winters are horrible. School is certainly much better known for its athletics compared to academics. Great School of Communications. For the cost, you certainly would get much more "bang for the buck" at Penn State.

Miami: Sorry, don't know much about it.

Pitt: Nice urban university located in a GREAT city. Admission is not that difficult for most programs. Great place if you enjoy Division I basketball and football.

Hope this helps.
