I'm a little confused on pre-majors (social science)

I got accepted into UW in Seattle and my major is written as pre-social science at the arts and science college. I'm trying to see what classes I should take and I can't find it. It displays the requirements for the more specific majors such as anthropology, social welfare, etc. I'm a little confused as what to do. I am yet to go to the advising and orientation but I would like to have some idea before then. Thanks in advance!

Your major isn’t pre-social science… Consider that as a placeholder. They expect you to be choosing a social science major.

Choose whatever major you are interested in…look at their requirements, and take classes. Some classes require pre-req’s to be completed 1st before you apply.

Have they sent you a welcome packet yet with your advisor’s information?
