hahah man i thought i would never meet someone just LIKE me. im pretty much in the same boat. But luckily got into BostonU whoo class of 2014. To make friends, just don’t worry about it. the more you try to chill with people the more friends you will make. Plus when you go on to college it will be totally different, more nerdy people (like me), more niceer people. don’t worry about high school, just do the best you can do. I am sure that there are a lot of people in the same situation as you. I quit my sport cause i didn’t like it, no sports, 4 AP classes all together in high school. ACT was 28, SAT was 1860, my AP Eng score was a 3, only in 1 club, almost got kicked out of National Honor Society, but still got into Boston University. You obviously have better scores so don’t worry and work hard. (wanted to get into Harvard, but im too dumb :)

oh here is some inspiration, appliced to all IVY leagues, duke, stanford, rice, UNM (local), Johns Hopkins, NYU and BostonU. GOT REJECTED FROM ALL except BostonU.

Conclusion: Boston U got a great student ( a legend harvard and all got nothin…NOTHIN!

Don’t go into the chances forums perhaps? ; )

You wouldn’t have gotten into Yale anyway unless your dad went there. If your dad did go there, then congrats, you’ll still probably get in.

And as said earlier, don’t feel bad at all - HS doesn’t mean anything in the big scheme of things. You still have plenty of time to turn around your study habits, get a 4.0 in college, go to a great grad school, get a great job, and live a great life.

When I was 6, I wanted to live at home and walk to Xavier University <3.

lolol same here with most of you guys…when I was six, I actually thought I was smart enough to go to HYP, etc. siggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh

Oh, and this is quite a nice collection of opinions. I see hatersunite and tomjonesistheman have all been here, among others. :)

If it makes any of you guys feel any better. I think I failed a health test about the brain and I got 16/38 on 2 homework sheets, that I can luckily redo, in Chemistry. :l My day sucked.

^Aww, hugs. If it’s any consolation, I’m going to fail a physics test tomorrow, just like I have failed all but about 4 this year :).

^If it makes you feel better, my band teacher decided to give the entire class a 70 today as one of the two grades we’ll have this quarter because he doesn’t think we’ll practice otherwise.

Yeah, I’m not bothering with physics during my high school career, let alone my life except guessing how high a ball goes…rofl. If I don’t get an A in Health, it’ll be the most embarrassing thing on my transcript by far. I should have just taken it online… :l

How do you guys get teachers to let you redo grades? Man I wish I went to public school.

^Ugh, I hate the denigration of public schools on here! :)

@ OP: Don’t feel like that! I used to feel like that too after joining this site. Don’t worry, just be yourself, take the classes that you want to take. I used to be at the top of my class, take all honors/APs etc… But this year, I’ve realized that I’m just wasting my time in classes and clubs that don’t really matter to me. Don’t do anything just to impress a school. Just be yourself, yes, you can push yourself, but only in what YOU want to, and not too the point where it will kill you.

Just think positive, and live life! :)

Oh, and remember, if a school rejects you, it’s THEIR loss, not yours.

^^^That’s how the teacher does it. He gives us harder work than all of the other chem teachers though.

ntktop: If you need to talk to someone, feel free to PM me!
