Seriously, how do you guys get straight 5's, 2300+, 800s across the board, while keeping #1 rank?? I mean, really, how do you do it? Do you have enough self control to say, alright, I'm not going to chat on AIM, instead I'm going to go to my room and sit quietly for 3 hours studying, studying for any AP/SAT II/SAT Test coming up? Is that really how you guys do it. . sit and study all day in your room? I'm not trying to bash anyone that might do that, but if that's really the case, wow, where have I been, in terms of motivation.

Or do you have parents that push and push you from freshman year to study so hard? I mean, we all want the great scores, but you guys seem to make it reality. Please tell me how you do it, while I still have a few months until test time. Do you take your AP books to school, and highlight/take notes anytime you're not doing something? I get home from school at 4:00, and I just want to crash, and then I have to get up and do hmwk, and even that takes a lot of coaxing to do rather than going on the computer or going to the mall or something.

You all are AMAZING, I'd love to know the "secret" . . even if it's just setting time aside every night to study for AP __ on one night, AP ___ on another night . . it's so hard to study in my house, it's like a rodeo every night . . library closes at 5:30 . . seriously HOW do you guys accomplish those excellent scores?!

But there are so many on here with such good scores, so is naturally talented prevalent on this website? You all don't have to study, or study minimally? No good study habits I can adopt?

Oh, study habits? The first thing to do when youre studying is to just turn your computer off completely. Also, study methodically and dont lose focus and start skipping around- keep everything in order. Lastly, know when to stop studying and dont freak out. I dont really study very much..but thats what works, especially the first part.

Normally, the type of student that would do enough internet searching/regular searching to find, or be reccomended to, this website is the type of student that does really well in school, has a lot of innate talent, or is very motivated.

Which is why I believe that this website is a poor representation of the high school population.

attention kitten77 im new here and i was gonna make the exact same post

we should go buy an island and live on it where they are no such things as Aps

but I think my problem is motivation i know im a smart guy, but unlike my friend who is uber motivated i dunno how to say stop writing this message and go to my physics homework
