I'm applying for ED.... is it critical to submit it before Oct 15?

<p>Hi, I will be leaving town for a week from October 12th, so I won't be able to work on my applications until I come back (I'll be back by October 19th)</p>

<p>I know that Penn recommands you to submit the applications by October 15, is it really critical? I really want to go to U Penn, so I want to submit it before the 15th, but my time is too tight and I don't think I can finish the applications by 15th.....</p>

<p>What if I send mine by around 21st or 22nd of October....?</p>

<p>i don't think it matters. they dont give u an advantage for submitting early.</p>

<p>Only if you live in the North East should you do it, since thats where so many kids apply from, and there are obviously alumni limitations to how many will interview.</p>

<p>The 15th is for a better chance of getting an interview which doesn't play that large of a role in admissions at Penn, so you're safe by applying later.</p>
