I'm applying To IU Bloomington, but I don't know if will get in.

I’m senior in high school, and want to get in IU. The thing is my ACT and SAT scores are not good.
ACT: 18
SAT: 1070
And the rest of my information:
Hispanic, Male
lives in Indiana, on their mail list
major: neuroscience
Weighted GPA: 3.6627
Class rank 29/258
3 AP classes and 10 ACP classes
Will graduate with Core 40 with Academic and Technical Honors Diploma

-I am in Key Club.
-I am in French Club
-I am in National Honors Society.
-I am in Sources of Strength.
-I am in Tack and Field for 4 years.
-I did wrestling for 3 years
-I did Football for 2 years
Out of school
-Co-fonder and President of Knights of the Holy Temple in my district.
-I am a leader in my youth group.
-Volunteer in my church and out of state in the summer.

I missed the early decision dead line, but applied for regular decision.
So I’m not sure I will make it.
Any advice will be great.
And Thanks.

I would not send the 18 ACT score.

You would be on the very low end of the range that they accept as far as your standardized test scores. If you had parents that went to IU that might help. I’m not sure if they look at ACP grades in the admission but that could help if you did good in those classes. I would make sure to apply to someplace like IUPUI if you don’t get accepted this year and you should have no problem transferring over next year.

Hi, Martin.
You being hispanic actually helps you a lot. Indiana University and Purdue are both trying to have a student body more representative of both the black and hispanic population.

I know a white male that was accepted with a 1020/1600 SAT and 3.0.
Frankly, I do think you’ll get in but as a general admit, not necessarily into the major of neuroscience.
