As some of you already know, I am interested in transferring to Northwestern for the fall of 2011. I will be attending DePaul this upcoming fall. Additionally, I am a member of DePaul's honors college and Strobel honors accounting program. I will finish high school ranked in the top eight percent of my class and a 29 ACT. Now, to my questions:

If I were to have a 3.7+ GPA in my freshman year, as well as several ECs, would I have a legitimate chance of earning acceptance?

For those of you who are looking to get into investment banking, do you feel that your chances of getting a job in IB are enhanced because of a degree from NU?

Do top firms such as Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, and Morgan Stanley recruit NU graduates?

I'd also welcome any suggestions on how I can help my chances of earning admission into NU this fall. Thank you.
