I'm confused with plusses and minuses on high school transcripts, clarify?

Do colleges look at whether you got a B+ or B- or does it just show as a B? When do they matter and when does it just show up as a B or A?

If your high school has a grading system that uses plusses and minuses, and you got a B+ or B-, that is what will be shown on your official transcript. I’ve never heard of grades being “rounded off,” so to speak.

And yes, colleges will consider a B+ student to have performed better than a B- student.

Thanks for the reply!
