I took Spanish 4 AP during my junior year in high school. I got a C the first semester and a D the second semester. However, I could not retake the class and get rid of the D since it is a foreign language class. But...I got a 4 on the AP, which was very surprising to me since I though I would not pass due to my grades... Do you think this will have a big impact on my college admissions?

I have semi-decent grades. 3.5 UnWeighted GPA, 4.5 Weighted GPA. I will have taken 10 APs after senior year...All 4's so far. 760, 690, 740 SAT IIs. 2100 SAT I. 32 ACT. Tons of extra curriculars, leadership positions, awards, and honors, eg. science fair, volunteering, school robotics team, NHS, Science Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society (LOLOLOLOL), AP Scholar with Distinction...

Calm down buddy.

Your other stats look fine. I got a 75 in music in my freshman year and a 70 in calc in my senior year and I got into some top 30 schools. They’ll understand if you did bad in one class. Your grades and numbers are pretty solid.

And I can’t tell if you’re really depressed or not, but seriously don’t get depressed over college admissions

Cheer up bud! The fact that you’re on here shows that you care about your education. You’ll get a good college no problem. Also Ap Spanish is known for being notoriously hard on non native speakers. At my school we avoid like the plague. You got a 4 so you’re well above average. Don’t worry too much about slip ups just take em as a lesson and work harder colleges realize and appreciate that :).

Thanks for your encouragement guys Ill do better this year.
