I'm dropping AP Gov't/Ec for next year...

Ok, so here's the deal, I'm taking APUSH this year, I have decent grades, As/Bs, but I HATE the class. My teacher doesn't teach at all, he just hands out tedious work while he checks his email all day. The class isn't stimulating at all; there is no thinking involved whatsoever. So since I really haven't learned anything in there, I'm going to take regular instead of AP next year.
Also, I hate the social atmosphere, many of the kids are stuck up, thinking their high grades in an AP clas,s where the work requires no actual thinking, actually means something.
I don't really get along with most of the ppl in there, most of them think the same, almost like sheep. I am alienated bc of my differences, usually, when we do group-work, I work by myself, because no one wants to work with me.
I'm not stuck up or anything, I'm just different lol...

I heard the AP gov't/ec teachers do the same thing, since I'm tired of that environment, I want to get into regular, where I might actually learn something.

I'd like your opinion on this, please! =)

It depends on the teacher. Some teachers can make even the most boring class, like health, into like a freaken gym class. but there are some teachers who can make gym seem like a studyhall.
