I'm going to college before I can take my road test... what do I do?

<p>I'm not sure where to post this, so hopefully I'm in the right spot.</p>

<p>I will have had my permit for 6 months on August 23 of this year. I thought that would be okay since most colleges start school around the end of September. However, I'm going to Berkeley this fall, and it turns out that fall semester there starts in mid-August! I definitely don't want to take my road test in Berkeley, since (1) I won't be driving when I'm there and (2) I'm not familiar with the city at all. However, I live in southern California, so I can't just fly back down to take a driving test, haha.</p>

<p>What should I do?</p>

<p>If you aren’t going to be driving, just wait until you go home for fall break (or winter break if that’s too early) and you can take it then.</p>
