Currently I'm in my Junior year and I've lost credit for math last year in the second semester for Geometry, and lost another math credit the first semester of my current Junior year. My grades aren't really that good and they're like 1.xx out of 4.0. The reason due to my bad grades is that I've been missing school a lot...due to personal reasons but I figured that I will need to get my act together after exams are over, and start to get my act together for the 2nd semester! (which starts on the 24th)

The thing is, if I start to really get my act together the later half of my junior year, and try my best to take all the required classes for all my credits senior year (with good grades), will it affect of my chances of getting into my state college (University of Maryland) or would I have to go to a Community college? Oh..and my grades for freshman and sophomore year isn't that great either...

If I somehow won't make it..I do plan on going to community college (do you need good SAT/ACT scores to get in there?) Also, the sign up dates for the SAT is March & June, should I go ahead and sign up this year to see what I get?

Sorry if I sound a little confusing, my brain is totally in the gutter at the moment, it's just suddenly that I'm starting to freak out about my future life :3

^ thanks! Tbh, I’m good at any subject if I push myself to do it. Math however…even if I try my hardest, I still can not do math very well .___.

What happens if I go to community college and do well there? Could I still have a chance of going into a better college?

Well considering you asked for advices I would definitely suggest community college. If you graduate hs they take you, no need for ACT/SAT. Then transfer to Maryland.

Even if you were to get in, I would highly recommend going to a CC for your first year- unless you do VERY well your senior year. There is a big academic gap between high school and university and oftentimes, CCs will help you bridge that gap.
