I am out of state

What are my chances. i really wanna get in cause i applied to penn state and i dont know if i will get into main, which i am hoping i will

Your SATs are lower than the average at JMU. Your class rank will help if you are in the top 25% of your class. You are at a disadvantage being out of state (unless you are in a low represented state like Wyoming or something). Did you choose to write the personal statement?

Right now I'd say your chances are 50/50. You have a solid GPA and what seems like a good list of EC's, but your residency and SAT scores will most probably hurt you. EA is going to be a strech, I think you have a good shot at regular decision.

Im not sure of my GPA because my school only says I have a 3.75. I have taken 8 Honors classes and 1 AP. So JMU will see that. I am a PA resident, and my rank is actually about 25%, i think its 26% if you put it into a calculator. And yes I wrote the personal statement on the appplication, but I also sent an essay in, and 2 teacher recommendations.
