I'm not ready to take Math II. What should I do??

Okay, so I took a practice test and got a horrible score and I don't have time to study between now and May 7! I'm already taking the Bio and USH subject tests, and was thinking of replacing math with Spanish (a bit bold on my part, but I am confident in my Spanish abilities....I hope). Does this sound like a bad idea? I want to major in engineering (did I mention that I'm a junior? -___-) so that means that I'm going to have to take Math II eventually, right? Would it be idea to put it off until...fall?

Okay, so I just took a Spanish practice exam (I ran to the library to get the Princeton Review book, the only book available) and got a 760 (I got 8 wrong) so I think I’ll just stick with Spanish and put Math II off until June or fall

I am in this exact same boat. You might not like my advice but I would say wing it, then take it again in the fall when you’re more focused. At least you have the experience of the test.

Good luck.

Quick Question: are you in precalc right now or are you in trig/alegbra 2? If you are in precalc and you get B+'s or higher that you should be able to get at least a 600. If you are in trig/alegbra 2 you should take math 1 instead

what book did you take the practice test on?

@Realiestchick, thanks for the advice. Had I came back to this thread earlier, I probably would have taken your advice (my bad -__- ). I’m pretty wrapped in AP stuff and I don’t know if I’ll have time to relearn trig

@CSMath, I’m in AP Calc AB. I got a B+ in trig and I’ve gotten A’s in calc (except for the first marking period), but I took one of the sparknotes practice tests and got a 590 >__<. I want to get in the 700s, but I don’t think I can get there in time. Hopefully I’ll be able to do it in October

@arrness, I used Princeton Review if you’re talking about Spanish (I missed 8, I believe), and I took one of the Sparknotes practice tests for Math II

Okay, I thought about it again and I think I’m going to try to plow through a Math II review book (Princeton Review) and try another practice test (from Princeton Review) and make my decision from there. So hopefully I will be taking Bio (I hate bio, but I need a science), Spanish, and Math. Wish me luck >___<
