I'm NOT slacking!!

On my schedule I've taken all the hardest classes I could fit in my schedule.

Last year, as a junior, that meant 5 ap classes this year I only have three.
admissions officers wont see this as slacking off right? The three I'm taking are the only ones that fit into my schedule.

Also I started spanish in the 8th grade and ended last year with ap spanish my junior year. as a senior there are no more spanish classes left for me to take. I've heard it looks bad if you drop a language as a senior, how can i make it obvious that this is not what I'm doing?

It doesn’t look bad if you completed the AP class in a language in your junior year, assuming you earned good grades. You won’t be penalized, since you cannot continue with the language.

dawg, stop worrying about what colleges might see and start worrying about taking classes you’re interested in

Why not?

10char

you wont be slacking if you are taking atleast 50% of the AP classes your school offers. on your transcript it will say “amount of ap classes offered” and “amount taken” I believe, so you should be fine.

I was lucky enough to take a bunch of awesome classes last year.
this year is a lot less intresting to me its mostly just stuff required for graduation. Some really interesting classes like physics I cant take because at my school AP physics is 2 periods and it interferes with speech, something I HAVE to takke in order to graduate. which pretty much sucks but I’ll live with it.

Anyone else take ap enviromental? I hear its painfully easy is this true?

Can you substantiate this?

OP, how do you stack up against your peers? If your classmates are taking twice the number of APs you are, then, yes, it will work against you. If they have similar courseloads, you’re fine.
