I'm scared that no one will accept me...

I am absent from school all the time because I have a health disorder...I have documentation from my doctor for all of it. It has unfortunately effected my success in school. I have had to choose the pass or fail option in a few courses and even drop down to academic level courses. I have yet to take my sat but I have a feeling I wont do too bad. I am now a junior and am getting a little worried about college. What are some good school I can get into eventhough my transcript isn't amazing...

Hello,

Are u in your final year of highschool? Is it possible if u could convert ur grades to percentage form?

You could check McGills cutoff requirements here:

[Admissions standards for previous years](http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/standards/)

I really really hope that u can recover from your illness. Is it very serious, in the sense that it can affect ur university grades as well?

I think it might be best to take a year off, and try to get as much treatment with ur problem as possible.

If its possible, please give us as much detail about ur problem as possbile.

Thank u and take care

i’m scared no one will accept you too.

Though your transcript may not be on par with ivies, I think you could get into a good school. But, I personally have a harder time saying anything else, as I am not sure which school(s) you are considering. A state university? Almost definitely you could get in, especially if you apply early decision. But, if you were thinking on another type of school, and due to my limited knowledge, I’m not sure what else I can say. You should definitely include how your poor health has effected your life (never in a completely negative way, I think I read somewhere colleges don’t like pity parties), and that if anything could be a hook.

But yeah, maybe think of some colleges, and then I could give you a ‘chance’ with my limited knowledge from another junior. :)

@floridaa

go screw urself, give some proper advice or **** off

Your grades aren’t really that bad. If you get a good SAT score, you could easily get into at least a decent school. Good luck.

Chance me?

Your grades are not that bad at all, wait until you take your sat and act and then start looking at possible colleges to apply to, you have a chance at getting in a decent school, and if anything you can always try community college for 2 years then transfer to a good university, but try not worrying about it too much now ! good luck !

I agree you have a solid gpa get a good sat score and you should get into some good schools. What area of the US are you looking to go to college?
