Hey There,
I’m a prospective international student who wanted originally to study at either NYU or anyone of the UC campuses.
Over the duration of my high school career I have been struggling with depression and anxiety which I have only recently gotten help for. Every time I try on my test I always end up with the same vanilla grade that will get me no where in life. Over the years dealing with this gave me an awful GPA of 2.5 and now I don’t think I have a chance to get into these colleges or universities in my home country.
I’m a Junior (in American slang) so do I have time to change?
Thanks,
Hannah
UC’s require a minimum 3.4 GPA for International applicants just to apply. Also UC’s only use your 10-11th (or your countries equivalent) grades for their GPA calculation.
So is that a no? Please just lay it on me. I’ve been forced to do a lot of growing up. I can take it
No, you have no chance at those schools unless you are famous, royalty, or have some other hook. Those schools are also extremely expensive and you’d get no aid.
But there are thousands of other schools in the US. Find one that wants you.
@godhelpthegirl do you have a high SAT?

I haven’t done the SATS yet. I was going to wait until next year but it’s not worth it now I guess
