I'm taking the Jan 7 SSAT. Help.

I don't remember, but:

I did fine on the math and reading comprehensions, but poorly on the analogies and synonyms. I'm going to start practicing vocabulary words today, but how can I improve my analogies score?

Read the Kap/PR old SAT books, they have really good strategies for analogies.

the thing is that kissmekate, you shouldn't think your practice scores will be similar to your real score. my practice test scores were around 60, 70 percentages for verbal section, but i did a lot better on the real test.

The real test is a bit easier, I think, but get a good night's sleep before and dont' cram and you'll do fine...

what's ssat?

wantascholarship, I know what you mean, but I doubt that I'm going to get higher, because the analogies/vocabulary is really tripping me off.

But I'm going to practice so I hope I do better.

that's what i thought too!! right before the test day i was like omg i'm still getting 69% right on my vocab sections!!!!!! n then on the test day things were a lot easier. i hope you do well. r u applying for any schools back east?

The SSAT is an exam for applying to private schools, blondperson.

No, I'm only going for schools in California.

i see. so no boarding?

No boarding, I'm staying home.

but boarding would be fun, don't you think?

Well, it's sort of a long story, but boarding isn't for me.
It'd probably be fun to board at a school for a little while, like a vacation maybe, but not permanently.

i seeeeee..

Yey.

My friend laughed at me when I spelled yay that way yesterday.

What??? Yay...

yey yay, no diff to me.

potaiiito or potaaato either way you say it i aint cookin it

haha :::::::::

hahaha:::::::
