Those scores are too low for Cal and UCLA. Although 720 is an excellent score, raising it to 750+ will help you out alot and getting your Chem 700-750 is also a must. The only reason I am saying this is because this years application pool had hundreds of excellent and well qualified students be rejected because of lack of space and too much competition. Next years application numbers are expected to rise at the top schools (especially the UC's) and competition will simultaneously rise with it.

I know, its a terrible feeling but thats the reality of your situation. Work hard and try to get those scores up to 750's if you can because that will help you alot. Tell us GPA/SAT 1 scores and your school's API ranking and we can try to help tell you where you have a shot. But this year a few of my peers who got 2300's and had 3.9 uw got rejected by berkeley and only one made it into UCLA. So really I dont know how to gauge the UC's anymore

hah...too much to work on over this summer...
prepare for sat1(havent taken yet...)
also prepare for math and chem...
