The title basically says it all...I'm visiting UPenn tomorrow (doing the info session and tour). While I'm there, is there anything that I should go out of my way to see? Unlike the other schools I've visited, I don't really know anyone who goes to Penn, so I don't know much other than what I found online (it looks amazing!). But yeah, any visiting advice?

would have suggested you visit during the school year to get a sense of the atmosphere, but at least summer session classes are going on right now

the tour is pretty good, you might want to add on the biopond and the bookstore

during the school year would have been ideal, but this is just more convenient. if i’m really interested i’ll visit again in the fall. i just looked up the biopond and now i think i’ll make an effort to see it, so thank you!

After your visit, come back on this thread and let us know what you think! :)

Dorms (if they let you) for sure

I think dorms are on the tour because the website says to bring photo ID so you can get in. Anyone have anything else?

Fisher Fine Arts Library.

Also, unless they’ve changed the tours since last year (worked as a tour guide last summer) you’ll see the inside of the Quad, but you won’t actually go into the dorm buildings (still very pretty though!) The tours should hit up most of the big things on campus.

If you visit during the fall, you can try to stay overnight with a student too. That’ll probably let you have a better sense of student life and such.
