I'm a rising senior in high school and I'm going to be visiting campus tomorrow... I wanted to know if there's anything I should do/see besides what I'll be doing on the campus tour/information session.

Thanks in advance

When are you coming to campus and for how many days?

Yea, you should definitely get to know the city a bit! Take a stroll down the Avenue of the Arts, go to one of the more famous philly cheesesteak places (such as Jim’s Steaks), and so on. If you find that you love the area, then great; if you can’t stand it, then you’ve saved yourself an application fee.

Also, if they have any dorm tours, you should try to go on one, and see if there’s anyway to visit a lab, CURF (center for undergrad research), and so on. Try to eat on campus and just try to visualize what life would be like for you at Penn. I hope you like your visit! The campus is beautiful!

why would you wanna visit curf haha

just see dorms, food, and maybe a classroom building or two if they’re open

^thanks for that advise

I get into philadelphia late tonight, and I stay until saturday.

Go to Pat’s or Geno’s for a philly cheesesteak! The best you’ll ever have.

i would go 2 the center of campus near the quad so that u can see college hall, fisher fine arts library, van pelt etc.
