I'm worried about my grades...

I have been accepted to UCR however one of my teachers is strict and am currently at a 49%. I have two questions; Does the 12 week grade report matter or is the spring semester grade the only real thing that matters, and do you believe my application will be rescinded if I earned an F in Calculus but was not required 1st semester, and still have an F in AVID at the end of the spring semester.
Thank you!

This isn’t helpful but I love-love-love your username. Ryan ftw.

What grade will be posted on your transcript? Semester grades or final grades. Either way, you are required to report any D’s or F’s to all UC schools. The majority would be willing to work with you so it is always best to be proactive and notify admissions. Better to find out now when you have options then after May 1 when you may not.

Semester grades is the way it is posted; first semester I got an F in AP Calculus AB (not a requirement) and my grade is still in progress but I believe getting an F or D in my AVID class is a real possibility. I have notified UCR of my F in first semester via email and have gotten no response (don’t know if they should send back a response). Should I contact UCR and if so who do I call and should I be prepared to go to another school?

Yeah I know!

Regardless if AP Calculus AB is not a requirement, it is still an a-g course for the UC’s. I would call admissions to make sure your acceptance is not in jeopardy. If you get the all clear from UCR, then you should be fine.
The UC provisional contract should state you need to maintain a 3.0 UC GPA weighted Senior year, with no D’s or F’s.
