I am a 2nd-gen Asian-American female applying SCEA to Stanford.

During the first three years of high school, I got straight As except for maybe 1 A- per year. This year, however, I think my first quarter grades are going to end up being a mix of A-'s, B+'s, and maybe a B. (The quarter ends next Friday, i.e. 11/9/07.) Will this disparity cast any doubt among the admissions officers as to the strength of my application? My stats are as follows:

School: Small, upper-middle class, suburban, predominantly white school in MA. Sends a few grads to top places every year.

W GPA = 4.55 (9-11) (5.0=AP, 4.7=honors, 4.0=cp)
UW = 3.93

APs: World, US, Bio: all 5s
-This year: Physics, BC Calc, Chem, Eng, European history. (8 APs is generally the max at my school.)

SAT: M 800, R 760, W 760, c 2320
SAT IIs: Physics 770, Bio 750, Math2C 800, World History 790

Class rank - none at my school, but probably in top 2-3%

Major ECs:
-Classical piano (since age 5; am submitting a CD)
-varsity soccer (11, I quit this year to focus on school and apps)
-varsity softball (10-12)
-Asian Student Union (officer)
-Vice President of the school chorus as well as 3-year member of Concert Choir, the chorus's audition-only subgroup
-Co-captain of computer science team
-"Regular" in math team

Summers:

Spent this summer at a paid internship in a biotech company researching Alzheimer's and Huntington's disease Last summer took an intense course in Java programming language at Harvard for 8 wks

Major awards: Bausch & Lomb honorary science award (1 recipient/year), College of the Holy Cross book award, awards in history and latin, Scholar Athlete, High Honor Roll Scholar Athlete, etc.

Essays: definitely showed my "intellectual vitality" and my wide range of academic interests, which Stanford should like.

What do you all think? Will a fall in my 1st-quarter grades impact my chances at my admission?
