importance of an interview..

i just scheduled an alumni interview... the brochure said interviews are "encouraged" but im wondering if they really carry much weight... apparently the acceptance rate drops to under 30% which is really intimidating!!! ah, what to wear what to wear..

nah , i applied ed, scheduled an interview but stupidly forgot to call when my interviewer didnt contact me. So, the deadline passed, and i got in, so im guessing it really doesnt carry much weight. Hope that helps.

.......i think its always HELPFUL for the admissions people to know u more. but obviously, if u have the grades, test scores, ec and others they want in a student, u'll get in with or without the interview, but if u lack in some area, the interview may put u in a brighter light. bottom line, they wont accept or deny you JUST becuase of the interview

i think interviews help borderline students... i had one anyway
