IMPORTANCE OF ESSAY! please suggest some stuff!!!!!!

<p>anyway, the point is, do UCs care about HOW you write? like, how eloquent you are and stuff.. theres lots of conflicting opinions, but whats the fact?</p>

<p>basically, do they care if you write a good essay? or do they only care about what you write ABOUT?</p>

<p>for example, you write about how you have only one parent and 5 brothers and they all have cancer and stuff, and you have to take care of everyone and contribute towards the family income......... is that what theyre looking for?</p>

<p>(btw, that example is extremely exaggerated)</p>

<p>the short answer to your 'ps' is yes, the UC's all have different admission policies. The higher you go up the food chain, the more important the essays; Merced and Riverside and almost purely numbers-driven.</p>
