I am applying for Fall 09, so spring 09 will be my last semester at my cc. I will only need to take 2 classes that semester to finish up the last of my requirements. Will the UC's count it against me in anyway if I am not a full time student?

if you call and ask them, they would say no. but if you want to hear the real answer: yes.it shows lack of motivation. most of my friends already finished their transferable units, but most of them are taking at least 12 units this upcoming spring.

not at all..... dont worry too much.

well, some people think it does matter, and some don't I'm just telling you from experience.
an UCLA rep "recommended" my friend to take at least 12 this upcoming spring. He's already done with everything...

but it's really a personal decision.

not at all important.

I'm a spring 09 admit and I'm only in one class right now, and only took two classes last quarter (spring 08)

I have the same problem too....

I am also applying for fall 09 and plan to take 8 units during spring to get me 60 units total

I also couldn't think of any classes to take that are related to my major...

There's no point for me to take over 12 units in spring since it will get me over 70 units with AP and taking non-major related courses would be a waste of time

The thing is that does it really show the lack of motivation or indicate that you are well-prepared to transfer since there are no other major-related courses being offered in CC???

BTW, I am planning to apply to UCLA as a Business Economics major and have a 3.93 GPA currently

I've taken micro¯o econ, Calc 1-3, accounting 1 in progress, and IGETC certified

I'm planning to take accounting 2 and Statistics in spring with a total of 8 units...

No it won't matter as long as you have 60 by the end of spring.
