Importance of Science in business/economics

As a junior this has been my "worst" year in terms of GPA.... basically bit off way more than I could chew.

Long story short, I got As and A-s in "liberal arts" and "math" related subjects, specifically AP Lit, Spanish, Journalism, APUSH, and AP Calc AB

But I got a B (a B flat, an 86%.... our AP teachers treat only 87% and above as a B+) in AP Chem and a B- in Bio Honors.

I should've known I was crappy at science when I got a B+ in Honors chem but seems like my ego got in the way >_>.... in any case, since I'm planning to major in a business related field (ie. finance), would adcoms treat my science subjects with "less importance"?

If you’re applying to selective colleges, it’s best to avoid Bs as much as possible regardless of the subject. I don’t think they put very much emphasis on intended major because most people change their major (unless you’re actually applying to an engineering school or something).

Im planning to apply to business specific schools, like Tulane Freeman school of business and NYU Stern. I have no delusions of getting into a top 20 school XD
