Does the FAFSA application have the same due date for every institution or do different schools have different due dates?

Also, I won't even know my acceptance decision for Penn until March 29th. If I get in and decide to go there, I will need to send in my non-refundable deposit by May 1st. So that leaves me about a month to decide if I'm going to enroll at Penn and to send in my deposit.

The FAFSA results come out after I find out if I'm accepted right?

Will my need-based aid show up on the regular decision portal on March 29th as well? And if not, how soon after March 29th, will I find out how much financial aid I got?

I'm trying to get a sense of the important deadlines have to meet and how much time I have to decide where I want to go to college next year. I've already heard from 4 of the schools I applied to. I haven't sent in my FAFSA for any of them yet so I don't know how much aid I got yet.

I think penn requires PFAS, CSS Profile by today, and FAFSA by April.
Go to their financial website

^^That is correct.

CRUD!!! Im gunna try and finish it right now before college board goes on maintenance!!! FUDGE

I still haven’t done the CSS profile and PFAS because we still don’t have all of our tax info…but I called today and my regional dean’s assistant said they aren’t too strict about the deadline. It says Feb. 1 but it’s really more like mid February. That was a relief because I WAS FREAKING OUT LAST NIGHT!

WHEWWWWWWWWWWWWW! my head was just about to explode! Since I was rushing through it and the CSS website was just down for maintenance… so i didn’t get to submit
-____-’

Except our estimates are really going to be out of wack because my dad’s out of state for a very long business trip and I just called him(he’s the one that does the taxes) and he’s just pulling numbers outta his head LOL

And I’m pretty sure I did the PFAS because it says Financial Aid Candidate on my penn portal. Does it say that for you?

“And I’m pretty sure I did the PFAS because it says Financial Aid Candidate on my penn portal. Does it say that for you?”

This is just based on you checking “Yes” to the box that says “Applying for Financial Aid” on the Common App. I submitted my Fin Aid paperwork 15 days after I got my portal log in, and it always said “Fin Aid Candidate” on my portal.

is there anyway to check whether I already submitted the PFAS?

Try clicking on it in your portal. If you already submitted it, then it would probably let you know. My portal also says Financial Aid Candidate. My FAFSA is submitted but I’m going to do the CSS and PFAS tomorrow…

oh shoot. I saved it, didn’t submit it LOL oops. But i did it yesterday!

Also, the system usually sends you an e-mail within 5-7 business days saying that they have EVERYTHING (that is, PFAS, CSS, and tax-documents). I got one when I did ED.
