Important question about qualifying for Financial Aid

I'm currently a first quarter Junior and I'm expected to graduate in Fall of 2014.

However, I'm seriously thinking about transferring to a school more suited to my career aspiration. I'm putting together a portfolio and there is a 75% chance that I'm going to be accepted.

The problem is, is that I would have to start as a freshman since it's a specific and rigorous program. Now, I don't know if I would still be eligible for Financial aid because I've accepted aid through FAFSA for three years now.

Would I still be able to receive aid through the four new years that I go through with the new school?

Yes, there are maximums to government aid. I suggest you get your degree and look for master’s programs or certificate programs in what you want to do.

The other thing…most merit awards are for incoming NEW freshmen who have never attended college before. You would not be one of these students. I agree…any chance you could complete your bachelors, and then pursue graduate study in this new field?
