My current highest ACT score is a 23 & I have a 4.2W & 3.8UW GPA. I am retaking the ACT in June. If i can bring up my score to at least a 24 or a 25, do you think my chances will increase a lot? Also, I would like to apply for fall, but would applying for Summer increase my chances/be a better idea? Any opinions/answers would help :)

The two biggest factors in acceptance are GPA and test scores (SAT/ACT). Like everyone has said, YES! I guarantee it will drastically improve your chances if you can score even higher than your goal. Any improvement is good but why limit yourself? Just study hard and try your best.

As for the fall/summer dilemma, apply for fall. When you apply for summer, you are only considered for summer, which is fine; however, if you apply for fall then you are considered for both fall AND summer. For example, both me and my friend applied for fall 2012 at UCF. I got in for Fall with my decent test scores and GPA while she got accepted for summer 2012 with her lower test scores and decent GPA. Unless you’re dead set on going for summer, I would always advise to apply for fall and see what happens.

I’ve noticed that you’ve been posting a lot recently and I just want to tell you to relax a little and try to enjoy the experience as much a you can. I have a similar personality to yours where I stress out about the little details, but I promise that a year from now when you’re in my position you’ll look back and laugh at all the time you spent stressing. Good luck!

Thank you I do need to relax don’t I…hahaha
