Improve my score in a couple days?

I took the Pretest on the SAT website and scored a 1900 flat. Is there anything I can do to shoot up to 2000? I am using Barrons and the Blue Book but I always trip up on the Hard problems

Are you getting the 1900 by answering or omitting the hard ones?
Omitting some of the hard ones may bring you up a bit but idk.

Depends which section you are weaker at.
SAT is a practice test, not an actual aptitude test. It is relevant seeing as hard work is directly proportional to results, and there is definitely work involved in doing well on the SAT.

But in a few days, the only thing you can improve is the writing section, so go over those rules, write a stellar essay, and pray CR/MATH are kind to you.

Hears a thought, and I know I sound mean, but that might be the intention. How about instead of THINKING how to do better, you PRACTICE? Hmmm, thought of that? Maybe get off of this site if you are struggling so much and take the time to LEARN the material. You clearly know what you ahve to work on based on your scores in each section and which questions you missed, so GET TO IT!

Just trying to push you in the right direction. A few harsh words can often help with that.

BTW… thats what I’m doing lol for CR. No just ASKING for advice or just thinking that since I bought Direct Hits I’m smarter, I have to take the TIME and learn it. I’m just sayin’

you’re right. Thanks for that Olleger. I’m gonna kick the **** outta the SAT this week! Thanks everyone

^ course I’m right ; )

GL btw.
