Hi, I've been studying SAT Math for a little over a month now with mostly PWN the sat math guide. I've heard about Dr Chungs and was curious if any one would truly recommend it or any other resources? I'm trying to get my math score up from 650 to 750 range for the Oct-Nov SAT. Thanks!

Do blue book questions and make sure you fully understand the ones you get wrong.

If you do purchase Dr. Chung’s his book also includes 20 practice tests. Just know that the notes he gives for each tip are very short because he assumes that you already know the gist of most of the concepts.

Have you taken an practice tests since you started using PWN the SAT.

PWN the SAT’s MATH is a great book! Use his guide as a reference to blue book questions and just keep practicing… (try to get the level 3-5’s, ignore the 1-2’s)

@driftadriva lol you clearly didn’t read the description…

umm, you asked if anyone would recommend Dr. Chungs or, in your own words, “ANY OTHER SOURCES”, which I did- PWN the SAT.
Know what you are asking for before you post. You’re welcome.

I don’t think a book like that will help you as much as you think it might. Just keep doing timed practice tests and for the questions you get wrong, learn why you got them wrong and the principles/formulas to them. If you don’t review and ingrain, history repeats with the same score.

My D found this book very helpful:Dr. Steve Warner’s: 28 SAT Math Lessons to Improve Your Score in One Month - Advanced Course: For Students Currently Scoring Above 600 in SAT Math and Want to Score 800. Note that she actually and diligently worked her way through it, paying attention to the types of problems she tended to miss. She had gotten a 69 on the math portion of her sophomore PSAT and wanted to bring that up. She did bring it up to a 76 on the math portion of her junior year PSAT. She got a 740 on the SAT math (that was last December and she only missed 2 questions but that resulted in a 740).

@Corinthian Okay thanks for the advice I think I’ll check that book out!
