<p>take ALL courses at my current school (4-yr university) or am I allowed to take 1 or 2 courses at a community college? For example, can I take an English course (equivalent to whatever English course at my school) at a community college? Will UCLA/UCB or USC accept this?</p>

<p>As long as the courses are transferable, you can take them anywhere you want. However, be sure to check with every individual school (<a href="http://www.assist.org%5B/url%5D">www.assist.org</a> helps a lot) to see the transferibility of the courses. Also, be sure to send your transcripts once you are accepted or requested from the schools.</p>
