Hello, I am a freshman at a community college. I really want to transfer to USC, UCLA, and UCBerkeley. I am planning to apply to USC as accounting major and the 2 UCs as Business Economic major.

I found a Transfer Planning Guide online so I know what to take in order to have eligibility for admission to UCLA and UCBerkeley. But for USC, the planning guide has a list of classes with some that are labeled "NEEDS". Most of the "NEEDS" classes are in category I, II, III, and V which are labeled as ""recommended for admission" in the official USC brochure. I am very confused on whether i am required or not to take the "NEEDS" classes since they are listed only as "recommended for admission" in the USC brochure. Please help me figure out what classes I need to take at my community college in order to be granted eligibility for admission to USC, as USC is my first college choice. Thank you very much.
