In state tuition for internationals?

There are some colleges that provide in-state tuition for non-residents if you have the right requirements. Does this benefit apply to internationals as well?

What colleges do you know of that provide instate residency to non-residents…unless they are part of an academic common market that encompasses residents of several states?

These do not apply to international students.

There are some colleges that do provide automatic merit aid if your GPA and SAT or ACT scores are sufficiently high…and yes to international students.

What is your GPA?

What is your SAT or ACT score.

ETA

These are your stats. Any chance you retook the SAT? Did you take the ACT?

You live in Hawaii. Does Hawaii give instate status to international students who graduate from HS there?

My GPA and SAT scores are not very high; GPA is 3.4 and SAT is 1210.

Do you have legal residence, and did you go to HS in Hawaii? Some universities offer in-state tuition if you graduated from a HS and attended for a certain # of years within that state.

Some offer in-state tuition to illegals.

Bemidji State http://www.bemidjistate.edu/ gives same tuition rate to all, in state, out of state, international
Minot State is same way http://www.minotstateu.edu/ and has a large international student group

I see from your other posts that you are international (but living in HI) and are interested in CS. Looks like you will need to go to very rural areas, far from major cities, in order to find what you are looking for. If you are considering this, I will put my two cents in for Bemidji MN over Minot ND. Bemidji has CS and is located halfway between Mpls/St Paul and Winnipeg,Canada (MN is a liberal state, so IMO good for international students). Bemidji is a beautiful place (campus sits on the shores of a lake), close to the Boundry Waters and the headwaters of the Mississippi River (it is considered a major recreational area in the Twin Cities). If you can handle winter (think Alaska, not joking) take a look at Bemidji.
