In-State Tuition?

If my parents are living in state when I register for my first year but then move out of state, can I still pay the in-state tuition for college?

My family and I have lived in NJ for almost 10 years, and I'm planning to attend Rutgers, but my family is moving to a different state this year. Will I still be eligible for in-state tuition?

It looks like NJ has some of the less restrictive in-state residency rules. [Rutgers | Rutgers Admissions](http://admissions.rutgers.edu/costs/tuitionandfees/njtuitioneligibility.aspx) It looks like you would still be considered in-state but you would need to verify with the school.

Yes, that’s what my dad and I believe as well. Thank you!! :D
