In what ways can i boost myself after some downfalls?

Id really appreciate it if i can get some advice on what to do...if i even can do anything anymore. I am a Junior in highschool and just finished my second Sat on March 8 (which i think i did worse than my first sat in november) So i am worried now. I already know a lot about canceling score, how a low one would affect me and etc. But just to make sure... i know colleges look at all your scores...and of course non-improvement does not look good...but will it be THAT big of a deal?

Also...Gpa wise..im confused i know they look at both. But Counslers and my parents always say "oh my child has a 4.2" and so does that mean they compare you with the weighted? The reason i would like to know is because my weighted and my non-weighted have a huge contrast....my weighted is a 4.0 as of now, and 3.55 for 10-12th grade. for overall 9-12 my nonweighted is 3.76.

Lastly, what extracurricular examples are there? do hobbies count? or legit. award winning activities/prepschools
thank you ^.^

Hobbies count if you put enough time into it. Stay focused in school, maybe try the ACT! Dont get discouraged about SAT scores, you dont know how you did until the score comes out.

Try to work hard in school and make good relationships with teachers for stellar rec letters, start brainstorming your essays early–it’s never too soon. :)
