Incomplete apps!

I submitted my Common App, supplement essays, and payments on time, but when I checked on the Applicant Status, I realized that my teacher's recommendation letters and transcript have not been received by the colleges. I asked my counselor to send them to colleges a month before the due date, so I think she made mistakes or there were technical errors. Because my school is currently under winter holidays, my counselor will return to school and send those files electronically on January 12th at the earliest.

Will these late materials put me at a disadvantage? Will colleges accept late materials?

The deadline usually applies to you, not to those application parts you have no contrtol over. You can expect to be fine. They will start reading complete apps now, but yours will get in the mix and should not affect your application. It is even possible the college just hasn’t logged in materials received yet because of the holidays. Chill. Follow up, but chill for now.
